About The Echelon Project
OUR VISION
The Echelon Project was founded in 2018 with the interest in offering purposeful experiences and activities to youth from historically under represented and disadvantaged socio-economic communities. We offer a broad range of enriching programs that allow youth the opportunity to show up as their true selves, self develop while also positively impacting others and their communities.
ACTIVITIES - BRINGING CHANGE
Youth activities like our Vallejo Biotech Career Expo introduce students to industries they might never have considered, such as biotechnology and STEAM. These events provide "hand-on" experiences and direct networking with professionals. This changes the trajectory of a student’s life by opening doors to high-paying, innovative career paths that are often underrepresented by minority communities.
Mentorship - "Potential-without-Pathways"
Our unique insight is that the "Social Capital Gap" isn't caused by a lack of willing mentors, but by a "Friction Gap" in how mentorship is managed. While most people believe underserved youth need more "encouragement," our data and experience show they actually need structured infrastructure. We are building an app to address this crisis.
